A campaign is established with a certain goal in mind; such as passing or repealing a law, or to win an election.
The focus of a campaign is to reach as many people as possible and persuade them to support the goal of the campaign. The
people can be reached in many ways such as public media or advertisements. The public can then judge the campaign and
decide whether or not they agree with it. |

One of the most important parts of the American political campaign is the ability to raise large ammounts of
money, especially early on in the race. Political donors often judge candidates based on their ability to raise money. Not
raising enough money early on can lead to problems later as donors are not willing to give funds to candidates they perceive
to be losing, a perception based on their poor fundraising performance.
